Who We Are
We are Achievers Center for Education (ACE). We are an educational option for 5th-12th grade students with special needs, including those who are two or more years behind grade level in any academic area. We offer faith-based education for children with learning differences. We accept students with and without physical disabilities. We feature a low student-to-teacher ratio and hands-on teaching methods that are producing amazing results!
These teaching strategies have proven to be effective for many students with special needs, including:
- Significant Learning Disabilities
- Cerebral Palsy
- Tourette’s Syndrome
- Anxiety and/or Depressive Disorders
- Mild to moderate cognitive challenges
- Downs Syndrome
Achievers is committed to providing an encouraging educational environment. Raising the standards regarding staff professionalism and training is a priority.
Curriculum revision is an on-going process as we strive to adapt coursework to meet the needs of the diverse group of learners that we serve. Priorities include integration of technology into course work and development of course content that is practical and encourages the development of vocational skills.
Most of the high school level students participate in the Success for Society course work that provides on and off site opportunities for job sampling, internship, and training.
Since ACE opened 13 students have graduated with high school diplomas from an accredited school.
